Pros and cons of a strapless dress vs a dress with straps?

So... due to the boning of wedding dresses, they tend to stay up and in place without straps. So the pro's of a strapless dress would include: showing off your lovely arms, back and chest, highlighting a beautiful necklace or drop earrings. It also can look nicer with a veil if you don't have straps. However, straps/sleeves can look incredible too. Long sleeves are particularly on trend at the moment and give an entirely different look. Equally, dresses with straps can highlight particular areas and show off whatever you'd like to showcase.
