The best way to work out your budget is to contact a few local boutiques and simply ask. Going to wedding expos is also great idea. Do your research on the designs that you like so you have a starting point when you talk prices. Prices will be diffrent between on line shopping, retail style bridal store where they stock ready to wear and you have to order your dress from a factory and your local small designer/dressmaker that offers very personalised service and respects your wishes. I always say find the Designer that makes you feel good first. Wedding is very special day for a woman so research it well.
