I would highly recommend a very light snack very low in carbs. Even grab a quick Green juice as you don’t want to feel faint at your fitting. You will need some energy to feel alert so you can consentrate on your fitting. If possible a relaxing green tea or peppermint tea before you get started.
I find its best to book your dress fittings in the mornings but if your appointment is booked for around lunchtime then probably just a light lunch is best.
Hi Bride,
I recommend that your not too full or too hungry. Definitely bring a bottle of water, or I can supply water. As some brides are prone to dizziness/fainting when standing in one spot for too long, that’s mostly when I’m hemming your gown.
Thanks.
Natasha.
Hello Bride to Be,
We would normally recommend that you eat something light 1-2 hours before your dress fitting and drink water. As you are having to stand in the one spot for a period of time, especially if we are pinning the hem, brides can get dizzy for feel faint if they have not eaten beforehand.
Regards
A Brides Blessing.
I would reccomend 2 hours prior and have water during the process to stay hydrated. Depends on time of fittings also.
Preferably not!
Of course you should never starve yourself either.
Eat a nice dinner and if you're showing up bright and early, eat breakfast after the fitting.

Hi
Yes, please eat and drink something! It is never good to miss a meal.
Depending on the time of day you have your fittings will help determine what and how soon before your fitting to eat. Most stores,//Seamstress Services, would have water/refreshment available for you.
Fitting can take some time, and you will not be walking around for the majority of it, so it is important to ensure you dont feel light headed or nauseaous. and try wherever possible to have a toilet visit before you get dressed in your gown (just in case!(
Great question :-)
