No they definitely dont have to be white. 99% of wedding dressesyou see in a bridal boutiques are actually ivory, even thought they might look like white. Obviously depending on whether for personal or religious reasons your wedding dress has to be optical white, you can choose, champagne, blush, latte, creme....the list is endless
Not really,
It is your day and your choice.
Not at all. White does not necessarily suit every bride anyway. It is your wedding you can do whatever you want to do. There are some lovely coloured bridal gowns, soft pinks and blushes, champagne colours, soft mushrooms, even a pale blue out now by Peter Trends. Ivory will always be a more popular colour, but there are so many choices now. You need to have something you love, and feel beautiful in.
Best wishes with your choice,
Louise
Hi lovely,
Most of our gowns are available in ivory only as we find this tone to be more popular among our brides.
It does depend on the style of your wedding and which colour you feel will best compliment your skin tone!
Kindest regards,
Kate xx
No, Wedding dresses can be many colours, White, Ivory, Ivory/Champagne, Latte and Champagne to name a few. White is a colour that can look blue in bright light so many brides go a softer colour like Ivory. The colour of your wedding dress is very personal. We suggest you try on gowns in different colours to see what suits your skintone and what you feel is more bridal for you.
Modern Brides are choosing now colours that suit their skin tones rather than the traditional white, there is a wide varity of colours now that have come in that still have a beautiful softness and freshness to make you feel like an amazing bride :)
Wedding dresses don't have to be white, indeed the current trends are incorporating nude, blush, champagne and similar shades. There's always space for alternative colours as many love to express their own unique personality. Black has even been in our workroom. We love the individual styles
