My name is Cheryl, and I started Buggy Lane Balloons mid-2019.
My inspiration was my daughter who has such a fascination with balloons (as most little ones do!) and I love creating bespoke decorations for my customers inspired by customer ideas or the imaginations of the little ones.

I'm Cheryl - a mum of two based in the rural area of Darwin NT. I started my business because it brought a lot of joy to be able to bring smiles to my kids faces - so I thought I could help others in the same way! At BLB we do what we do because we love bringing smiles to your faces while also bringing a unique touch to your special event. We want to make sure that when you look back on your special day that those memories continue to put a smile on your face with our bespoke creations.

Unfortunately, no. We do not support the purchasing of balloons for balloon releasing. While all of the latex balloons we use are biodegradable; balloons and their attachments can easily become entangled in power lines, trees, or other obstacles which can be devastating to the environment and wildlife.
Yes! All of the latex balloons we use are made of natural rubber latex. This material biodegards at the same rate as an oak leaf! Unfortunately foil balloons are not biodegradable. We encourage you to keep these balloons for another occasion if possible, as they can easily be defleated and re-inflated. If you do not want to re-use the balloons, think about using them for children's art projects - they can be cut up and can be a lot of fun to play with the colours and glue them onto paper!
Yes. All of our pricing is inclusive of installation and set up fees. Our delivery fee is variable, as it will depend on your location and whether or not we need to use a van for the day.
100% yes! In terms of colours and foils - most of our orders are customised to suit your theme. Garlands especially are bespoke creations, so no two will ever be the same due to customer colours and placing of the balloons. We can also personlise balloons with decals. You just need to let us know and we will customise the quote.
Well, if the little ones haven't stolen them already (lol) you can keep them! Take them home to hang up for the rest of their lifespan - if there are jumbo balloons just pop them so they fit in the vehicle. Alternatively, both adults and children have a fun time popping them all! A fee is charged if you require us to come and collect the balloons where you have not hired a stand or backdrop, otherwise, it is all inclusive of your order.
This all depends on the environment. They can last anywhere between hours and weeks. The hotter the environment the lower the lifespan. In the Darwin climate, it is best to use lighter colours for outdoors. Balloons will generally last the timespan of a wedding - but as mentioned, the lighter the colours the better. Where balloons are indoors and out of direct sunlight, they can last for weeks!
