Defiantly.

You can always start with some light canapés after the ceremony

followed by wood fire pizza,it's informal and stress free.

Who doesn't like Pizza?

As a Boutique Caterer, Nutmeg and Pepper, offer handcrafted Mini and Full Sized Pizza options with your choice of toppings. We even supply a Gluten Free Pizza option.

We usually Pair this with Organic Salads if offering as a Main or as part of a Roving Canape selection.

Depending on where you hold your Wedding we can generally Cook Pizza from our Mobile Kitchen or if holding at an Event Space we will need to ensure we have the correct equipment.

Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

Thanks and Regards

Absolutely! Pizza is a great idea as it encourages the social atmosphere that most brides & grooms are after these days. No more of that formal sit down dinner stuff... we want people to mingle and enjoy themselves ;)

Anything is suitable for a wedding because if that’s what the guest want and makes them happy and the bride and groom, then yes to pizza. Pizza is versatile and you can even have dessert pizza , for eg chocolate and strawberry ....pizza sounds like a great choice.

The number of couple who opt for pizzas at their wedding in on the rise. Last year we have personally catered for 83 weddings and this year we are looking to surpass that number. Why pizza?

SELECTION - A good Pizza catering company should offer a very large selection of pizzas (not 4 or 5) but at least 10 to 15 different type of pizzas. Split between multiple selections of vegetarian, meat, chicken and seafood pizzas. This will cover pretty much every guest's taste and preference even the fussy one. So no more guessing what guests would prefer like when choosing finger food type of food.

QUANTITY - We offer all you can eat packages so guests will keep eating till they are absolutely full. This usually goes for 2 to 2.5 hours. After the speeches we came out with our dessert pizzas. Before packing up we leave plenty of leftover for the most popular midnight snack. So no more guessing how much to order.

FLEXIBILITY - Guests will help themself one slice at the time while holding a glass of wine on the other so pizza makes an ideal stand up cocktail style party food.  We have special ovens that allows us to make lots of pizzas at the time so pizza can also be served as a buffet which is ideal for sit down dinner. Flexibility and ease is the key here. When standing up people tend to be annoyed when they have to drop their drink and eat sometimes difficult with two hands like sliders, Paella and so on. People priority is to mingle and have fun not get messy.

DIATERY - as pizzas are made onsite it is very easy to cater for vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant, gluten free and so on.  Just tell us what the requirements are and we look after the rest.

SPEED – Guests tend to skip lunch when attending an early afternoon wedding. So within the first hour of service guests are really really starving. So it is essentially to get food out really fast. After the first hour the pace slows down to a more civil pace and the food keeps lingering till they are done.  So question how fast pizzas are made and how many can be done per hour. Furthermore make sure to demand fresh pizzas dough not prebaked pizza bases.

WAITER No need for people to queue like food trucks catering. Waiters walk amongst the guests describing each round of pizzas so guests can stay where they are a get spoiled all night.

COST at around $20 per person all of the above can be achieve with ease.

Glad to help.

Hi there,

We provide Grazing tables, antipasto platters, Garlic cheese, salads, Handmade Gnocchi and gourmet pizzas. We do both, sit down and coctail style set ups and guests absolutely love the pizza and specially the gnocchi. It is a sharing style dinner though, not individual dishes. Please contact us for more details.

Thanks!

I think wood oven pizza is better than chicken or steak, you can choose a larger variety of pizzas, guests can eat different varieties taking slices of pizza throughout the night eating at there own pace rather than sitting down and waiting for a dish to come that’s probably cold, not cooked properly or to small.
