Their family-run crew is ready to cook fresh, onsite, bringing energy, aromas, and proper Spanish flair to the big day. Led by head chef Leno and his son Jake, the team know their stuff.
Leno’s even been a guest judge on MasterChef Australia, so they’re not messing about. The service is quick, friendly, and ideal for all wedding sizes. Massive pans of sizzling paella, plus tapas that’ll have guests coming back for seconds. Everything’s cooked fresh and served hot. They also cover all dietary needs, so vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly options are always available.

Hi! We’re Jake and Sara from Simply Spanish Catering. I’ve been cooking paella for over 15 years, and Sara’s from Valencia – where paella was born. We travel to Spain every year to visit her family and stay connected to real Spanish food. We cater events big and small with delicious paella, tapas, and good vibes. If you’re after something fresh, fun, and full of flavour – we’ve got you covered!

Our minimum spend is $1,500 for events within Melbourne. For events outside of Melbourne, a minimum spend of $1,900 applies. Please note, for Sunday and public holiday functions, the minimum spend is $3,000, and public holidays incur a 15% surcharge.
Yes, events outside Melbourne CBD will incur a travel fee. This covers travel time for staff, fuel for our truck, and generator use. We’ll provide a custom quote based on your event location.
Yes, a minimum deposit of $500 is required to confirm your booking. We accept both credit card and EFT (electronic funds transfer) payments.
We require a flat surface of approximately 3 square meters to set up our paella station. Ideally, this space should be sheltered if the weather is windy, to ensure a smooth cooking experience.
We arrive approximately 2 hours before the scheduled service time to set up and prepare your paella fresh on site.
Absolutely! We’re happy to provide plates, cutlery, and napkins for your event. Best of all, we use only biodegradable products that can be recycled or composted – because we believe in delicious food that’s good for the planet too.
