Our team have a vast variety of skills and culinary experience who consistently deliver food that exceeds your expectations. Many of Going Gourmet’s chefs have bragging rights of working in Michelin Star restaurants from Melbourne to London and back. These same chefs are in the kitchen during the week preparing sensational food for your event and most of our 500 events per year require one or more chefs at the function itself.

Do we need to get both our food and drinks with Going Gourmet ?

No. We will tailor any package to your liking. We can do either food only, food and beverages or a beverage package. We are here to cater to your needs and requirements and make your wedding the perfect day.

Does Going Gourmet do delivery only?

No sorry. All our packages come with a chef and wait staff to ensure your wedding goes seamlessly.

We did a fully vegan menu and Going Gourmet was amazing and very responsive to emails. We did a tasting early on were super impressed. On the day everyone loved the food and the staff (we hired wait and bar staff) were extremely professional and so efficient I barely noticed they were there.

Our reception at Baxter Barn was all inclusive with catering by Going Gourmet, and it was hands down the best food we had ever eaten at a wedding, or any event. We opted for Cocktail BBQ, and it was not only delicious but also generous.

We hired this company for our wedding and they did an outstanding job. We had a vision of having our reception amongst pine trees and we were worried that the caterers would arrive and deem the task of a remote kitchen reception sit down dinner for 115 guests too difficult. However this amazing team arrived and set up without hesitation and proceeded to serve well timed delicious food. We chose the feasting 2 course option. We received compliments from almost every guest about how amazing the food was. I cannot recommend this company enough. They far exceeded our expectations.
