Depending upon the venue and the number of guests my recomendation is always to use a chauffeur driven 13 or 22 seater mini-bus as these vehicles are of similar size to a normal to large sedan therefore they can access all driveways and can drop guests at the door of the venue.
The option of 40 -50 seater coaches however they generally can access the drivways to many venues and guest may have to walk from drop off point.
At Admire Limousines we have chauffeur driven mini-buses available, as well Rolls Royces aand Daimler Royal Limousines for the bridal party
It is a very hard question to answer as personal preference and the whole style of the wedding is involved
It can also depend on the number of people in your wedding party, your budget and your venue
My personal preference would be for a classic car such as a Classic shaped Rolls Royce as this would not date in the photos
Many car companies can provide transport for wedding guests
Mini vans, buses and coaches can be hired for guests - in will depend on how many guests you wish to transport and your budgest
Caution should be exersied when hiriing coaches as they may not be able to access all roads and venues
Of course it is possible to arrange transport for guests to the reception
At Admire Limousines we often transport guests, we have 13 and 22 seater buses avaiable, which are the perfect way
to transport a number of people.
This would be unusal combination but one that has been done before
Leaving the house to the church the Bride and her father would be in the Rolls Royce and rest of the bridal party would
be in the Hummer
After the church the Bride & Groom would the be in the Rolls Royce
This way the Bride and Groom will feel special and stand out
A chauffeur is a uniformed professional driver who has experience in all aspects of wedding transport including
driving the vehicle in a smooth and comfortable manner for the passagengers, reading traffic flows , navigation and arriving at venues on time.
A Chauffeur is attentive to all your special requests and wishes, assists the bride get in to and out of the vehicle, help in posing the bride for photos with the car
A driver merely drives a vehicle for point A to point B
I would suggest that you approch the florist to make an arrangement suitalble for the type of car
eg a Rolls Royce - flowers could be attached to the emblem at the front
The florist could then contact the car company to attach the flowers or place them in tha car
Will I be disappointed if I don't hire a wedding car? I don't know if I have room in my budget
Are there budget options?
You would be suprised at how little a hire or vintage car could cost
Shop around especially for cars in your area as the have less travelling time
In the whole scheme of planning a wedding the cars are a small cost
The professional driver can add to the whole wedding experience.
He will know the shortest route to the venues, also they know many photo shoot spots
and will help the bride in and out of the car, postion her for photos getting out of the car
and generally assist in many areas
Children in wedding cars
Do infants, flower girls, page boys etc require car seats if travelling in a limo? My daughter will be 7 months, can she travel with us or will I need to organize for someone else to drive her?
It does depend on the cars age. Our cars are Classic Rolls Royce, Bentleys and Daimlers and such were built prior to 1971 and do not have rear seat belts or anchors for child car seats or restraints. Although it is law for all children in cars to be appropriately retrained we will take older children on short trips.
We have found that small children prefer to travel with their parents as they get bored, tired and cranky very quickly, so it is better if they travel in another car - dropped at the venue or photos then taken home
What are the white ribbons on wedding cars for? Can I ask for them to be removed?Sabrina O
I don't know if I like them
White ribbions are fitted to wedding cars to signify to members of the public that there is a special person in this car and to allow the wedding vehicles to travel together
i think it dates to middle ages to signify purity of the bride
Of course the may be removed upon request or other colours may be used
How do the bride and groom leave the reception?Lauren F
How does the bride and groom leave the reception? Do we need to hire a car to pick us up after the event or have someone else drive us home, or just Uber it??
We often supply a get-away car for the bride and groom at a reduced rate if they have booked their wedding transport with us
Guests are not normally allowed to smoke or eat in the cars but we allow the drinking of Champagne, water or soft drink
We recommend looking for your transport about 6-8 months before the wedding but we try to accommodate all inquiries even last minute ones
