How do the bride and groom exit the wedding?

There are two conventional ways for the bride & groom to leave the  reception. My suggestion is th quick way.

Get the MD to arrange for all of the guests to form  a tunnel from the centre of the room towadrs the exit, with the guests holding hands above the tunnel.  The bride & groom start at the centre of theroom and run through the tunnel and they are gone. It only takes a few minutes.

The other or slow way is for the guests to form a long line from the centre of the room to the exit. 

The bride & groom walk along the line and speak with each   guest.  all of the guests that have had their fill of alcohol during the evenng will grab hold of the    bride  grooms hand and want to tell them a little story or two about one of the bridal party

The  more  alcohol that the guests have had to drink the longer the story .So it is possible for the bride and groom to spend an hour or so trying to get at way fromt the long line of well wishsng happy story telling guests.

When they have booked a car for say midnight t go to their honeymoon suite and they eventually get away at 1.00am or so ,they have their get a way car waiting with a bi ffor extra tme ll that either they nor the driver  expected.

I have learnt over the last 40 years plus that there arre two bosses at each wedding, the bride & groom . A wedding car operators job is to

supply cars for the inspection and selection by the bride & groom and who ever else they want to assist them.

If they cannot selelct cars from the operators  fleet then I ssuggest other operators who may have what they couple want.

Personally I  pefer convertibles for beach wedding and I have plently of them in my fleet.

I always offer wedding car ribbons with every weddding car hire, if the bride  groom do not want them, what they so goes.  They are hiring the cr so they are the bosses.

I have a selection of coolours ass well as wwhite.

Do people usually have photo's with their wedding car?

It is very rare for the Bride, Groom and bridal party to not have photoes after the ceremony, usually at the church or ceremony place straight after the ceremony  and then they go to one or more  selected locations for the photoes without a crowd. 

That is when we always supply &  serve champagne etc for the couple to toast their wedding.

Usually when the wedding cars collects each party to go to the ceremony there are a few photoes taken at the respective homes 

  I always park  withn i the grounds of the brides house if possible Because it is the last tiime that as a single lady that she will leave that address. and she has a photo fo the occasion.

If they arer travelling in a convertible and the weather is good , I always have the roof down as we drive out of the driveway with her parents or person giving her away  in the car with her.

How do you organise the transport for the wedding?

We are trying to work out our budget and are struggling to work out how to organise the car to get to the wedding and how to leave? What do you do? Do you use have your own car at the venue and get in that to drive home or do you have the hired car wait until the reception is over and drive you to your hotel? We just arent totally sure how this is going to work as our venue doesnt have the space for us to get ready on site?

Congratulations! Our method is to drop the bride and groom at the reception return to our base and as most receptions are 5 hours we return at pick up time to take the bride and groom to their honeymoon suite and chrge much less than the 5 hours waitign time. We always suggest in good weather to use a convertible classic car because it is more romantic and very good for late night photography.
