  1. Pavlova or cake? Too many times we get caught up in conventions and traditions that really don't make a difference whether we do or we don't. I say knock yourself out and do what makes you happy....the symbols that creates lasting memories for you and your partner, are what matter the most.

Pavlova is great for outdoor events, casual, small weddings, or as a refreshing dessert option. A cake is better for formal wedding.

Having something that is non traditional is so much fun!! You can do either one big one piled with fruits to suit your aesthetic or thinner layers with you fav fillings. Just keep in mind the season and if you choose cream as the baker and venue will need to decide how best to manage and stage your cake . Cakes however give you endless possibilities with designs .

I believe there are no rules for wedding cakes, we have tiramisu as a wedding cake.

There have been stacked cheeses as we have previously discussed, as a wedding cake.

We do not make pavlova cake.
