We can't recommend the Mantra Lorne enough! We had a family friendly wedding at the Lorne and the staff were exceptional on site and in the lead up. Everyone was so attentive and helpful and they directed all the suppliers without any input from me and it was perfect. It was really a seamless day and our requests to accommodate a kids menu and a few other details to make it less wedding and more party were not an issue.

We had the most magical wedding day! The weather was perfect for our ceremony on the beach, with the sun coming out just as I walked down the aisle. Our family said the canapes and drinks on the lawns were really good while we were having our photos taken. We chose the Ballroom for our reception and it was so pretty with the fairy lights and the flowers, which were from a local florist. All our guests said the food was delicious. The venue had an option for a wedding recovery brunch on the lawns with the food truck and I'm so glad we chose that because the celebrations were able to continue the next day. The accommodation booking code for the hotel was handy to have for our guests, most people stayed the weekend. All the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, especially Amy who assisted with my countless queries in the lead up to the big day. It was the perfect wedding venue!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Most Magical Wedding Venue – The Moorings Lakehouse Not our first time at The Moorings Lakehouse — but from the moment we first arrived, we knew this was where we’d one day get married. The property is nothing short of breathtaking. It has that rare, jaw-dropping wow factor that leaves everyone speechless. Our guests were blown away and commented all day and night about how spectacular it was. As a wedding venue, The Moorings is the perfect romantic fairytale backdrop. It exudes a magical, boho-luxe vibe with a variety of beautiful spaces to choose from — and thoughtful “just-in-case” weather backups (which we almost needed!). We had our afternoon ceremony by the lake, cocktails and canapés beside the lakeside marquee with cruisy tunes, dinner in the magnificent bell tent, and dancing in the Rainbow Room with its stunning hardwood floor. Our guests loved the natural progression through each space as the day turned to night. The photos and video captured here are absolutely next-level — every shot looks cinematic. It’s truly an Instagram dream! You can feel the love and care that’s gone into every corner of the property. We learned that the owners, Elaine and David, planted every single tree and built every structure themselves — just incredible. The management team, David and Mirella, are warm, accommodating, and incredibly professional. They go above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. In the lead-up, I worked mostly with Mirella — she was an absolute gem: calm, organised, and such a reassuring presence. Her reminders and checklists were invaluable — I would’ve been far less organised without her! The accommodation was fantastic, comfortably hosting our group of 14 with plenty of space and style. Every element delights the senses — the decor, architecture, gardens, and sweeping lake and sky views. The land itself feels peaceful and grounding. On the morning of the wedding, I even had time to unwind in the sauna and dip in the lake — such a calming way to start the day. It’s the little luxuries, thoughtful details, and lush blooms that make this place feel so special. The Moorings Lakehouse perfectly blends upmarket elegance with rustic charm — exactly what we dreamed of for our lakeside garden wedding. We even took a wander through the orchard and veggie garden, which added to the magic of the weekend. I’m still reminiscing about how truly incredible our wedding was here. The Moorings Lakehouse is everything you could hope for — and more. We had our wedding here and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the very beginning, the communication was amazing — every question was answered quickly, clearly, and with so much kindness. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but they made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable. The accommodation was outstanding. Everything was spotless, beautifully presented, and so comfortable. The level of cleanliness honestly blew us away you can tell they take pride in every detail. Omg the longhorn… what an unforgettable touch! It added such a unique, special element to the day and made for some truly incredible photos and memories. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. The entire venue, the people, the atmosphere everything was perfect. We felt looked after, supported, and celebrated from start to finish. If you’re looking for a venue that goes above and beyond in every way, this is the one.
