    I cannot name a single flaw. The place was beautiful, the wedding of my dreams. The staff at Rydges were willing to bend over backwards for us to make our day perfect and smooth. They catered for us as well as having a bar. Wanda, our wedding coordinator, made our day and lives 10x easier and we couldn’t thank her enough. If you’re considering having a wedding/reception here, I highly recommend. The prices are very reasonable and you and your family can stay with you in the beautiful rooms in the hotel. They made all my dreams come true and I wouldn’t change a thing.

    Ourselves and our guests were made to feel incredibly welcome and special, during our ceremony and reception - both hosted at Rydges Hobart. The team from events and indeed all involved on the day went out of their way to ensure everyone was looked after. The spaces we chose for the celebration were tastefully arranged, and while we had not ever had to make arrangements for a wedding (and don’t plan on having to again, hah!) it was clear that the staff at Rydges knew exactly how to make the day run smoothly and stress free. We would happily recommend the location and service to those searching for an inner city, yet classic and elegant, wedding day venue.

    My partner Rod and I recently got married. We chose Rydges at North Hobart for our event. What an incredible experience we had! We chose one of their wedding packages, which meant the venue, catering, drinks, staff were all taken care of and at a really good price. Brett (General Manager) and Sabrina (Event Coordinator) were just fantastic. We had several meetings leading up to it and we were kept up to date on everything the whole way. They even gave a special room rate to the many interstate visitors we had staying there. On the day, it ran like clockwork and a special shout out to the kitchen, the food was fantastic. Everyone was very taken with how wonderful the rooms are, how beautiful the venue is and how grand it all looked and I completely agree. All the staff are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Not to mention the awesome Presidential Suite we got to stay in. I honestly can not recommend this place highly enough.
