No unfortunately. We are located within a National Park and World Heritage Listed Site therefore not pets of any kind are permitted on the Island. Large fines apply, so recommend leaving them somewhere safe whilst you explore this beautiful Island.

Absolutely! Banksia Hideaway is a private loft villa nestled in the bush on K'gari (Fraser Island), perfect for newlyweds looking to unwind after the big day. Think poolside relaxation, sunset cocktails, and exploring one of the world's most beautiful islands together.
While we're an accommodation rather than a ceremony venue, we're located within the grounds of Kingfisher Bay Resort on K'gari, which does host weddings and elopements. You can tie the knot at the resort and retreat to your own private villa afterwards. Best of both worlds!

K'gari is accessible by ferry from River Heads (near Hervey Bay). The SeaLink ferry takes approximately 50 minutes and drops you at Kingfisher Bay Resort, where our villa is located. No 4WD needed to reach us!
We don't have minimum stays. Get in touch and we'll find the perfect dates for your celebration. We recommend at least 2-3 nights as a minimum if you truly want to unwind and explore the island.
K'gari is a World Heritage-listed island with crystal-clear freshwater lakes, lush rainforests, pristine beaches, and incredible wildlife. Imagine wedding photos at Lake McKenzie, a scenic flight over the island, or floating down Eli Creek together. It's unlike anywhere else in Australia.
