I can supply 2 witnesses over the age of 18.  They could be the photographer, makeup artist, muso, or my partner.

Enjoy the elopment and have fun.

Kind regards

My last elopement ceremony, was the photographer and my husband.

As other Celebrants have commented below, anyone over the age of 18 years and who fits the legal requirements, of which there are a few.

have a great day

You must have 2 witnesses that are 18yrs & over, it doesn't have to be friend or family

You will need to find two people over the age of eighteen in the location that you are going to have the ceremony.

Or take two friends away with you

Witnesses can be any two people over the age of 18, who have been there to witness the ceremony.  They don't have to know you prior to the day - they literally just have to be there to hear the ceremony and have understood the language.

Hello, you may still want your best friends or parents to know about your elopement, if not ask your Celebrant. As long as the witnesses are over the age of 18 and understand English then they can be anyone.

Good luck and enjoy your elopement.

any 2 persons over 18 and you must have a lot of identification to prove to the witnesses you are who you say who you are...

You just need 2 witnesses over the age of 18. They don't need to be people that you know. They must be able to speak and understand English and read the documents that they are being asked to sign as witnesses. Many celebrants are able to provide witnesses for a small fee to cover the witnesses time if this is somethinf that you require.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Even if you elope, you still need two witnesses who were at your Wedding and are over 18.

If you are not able to supply some witnesses, I am able to bring two witnesses for your Ceremony

so that your Wedding will be legal.
