No, but it is a nice way to include a special person who is not part of the bridal party :)

not necessarily, The could be or you could choose someone else to be included who was not in the bridal party, say a family member. Happy to chat to you,

Not necessarily. I find couples choose other special  family members or friends for readings as it’s another way to include people who are special to them. Readings from grandparents is always special!

You may select anyone to complete a reading during the ceremony, it maybe a family member or a close friend and just because they are doing the reading doesnt make them part of the bridal party..

The person does not have to be part of the bridal party.  You might like to choose a family member or friend to a reading who are not a part of the bridal party but who you would like to have a part in your ceremony.

Hello,

No. It can be a lovely opportunity to invite someone you and partner would like involve in aome way. You actually do not even need to have readings. If you have chosen a reading that is personal to you, you have the person in mind that would also add meaning for you both to speak these words. Best, Kaylene

People that do a reading at your wedding ceremony are usually friends or family. Only if they are one of the groomsman or bridesmaids they would be included as part of the bridal party.

Hi :)

They can be, but they don’t have to be. It’s always nice to include someone special in your day, you could have your grandmother or grandfather, your aunty or uncle, step father or mother, work colleague, your spouse’s sister or brother,  there are no restrictions to whom you can chose to do a reading for you.  It is a wonderful opportunity to include that special someone who is not in your bridal party, it can also be an avenue to honor someone whom is no longer with you, by having their favourite passage or poem read by a close family member to them.  Do what makes you happy, choose whoever you like, it is after all your day.

It can be anyone of your guests, my tip is to pick someone who is good at reading out loud and will be able to perform the reading as you envisioned it to be.
