The 13th January is fine, Just don't get married on January 14th, it's my birthday and I love having a free day to be pampered by my family.

There is no reason to avoid any date, please explain your reason for the question ?
How exciting for you and the very best to both of you. As other celebrants have mentioned your NOIM would need to be in a month before your wedding, unless you are granted a shortening of time. Choose a day for your wedding that will suit you - it doesn't matter how busy it is. Your wedding day is YOUR special day so choose a celebrant who makes you feel comfortable. I am really looking forward to marrying same sex couples and also offer a discounts for weddings until the end of March and mid week weddings. I hope your wedding day is everything you have dreamt about.
Dear couple, Congratulations - how exciting for you ! My advice is to get married whenever you wish to. This is a fabulous place in time for you both and your Wedding Day will be something to hold close to your hearts forever. Go for it !

Congratulations on your marriage.
A legal requirement is the completion and lodgment of the Notice of Intended Marriage with the celebrant one calendar month before - that is the 13th December. If you have a venue lined up, you will need to choose your celebrant quickly. I sugest you take some time to organise your beautiful day. I can assist you as your celebrant.
Remember that you must give the required document Notice of Intended Marriage at least one calendar month from the proposed wedding date. In this case would mean before the 13th December,2017.Summer including January is considered a busy time of the year. The more notice you give the better.

You need to give one months notice of your Wedding.
If you want to marry on 13/1/18, you should.
But, BOOK SOON!!
If you want to be married on 13 January, do it! Don't worry about how busy it will be. If well planned it will be such a beautiful day for the two of you. Such a significant day as well. You can personalise it to your taste including all the little things that are meaningful to you and your love for one another. Your certificate of marriage will have this historical day on it and you will have that forever. I can't wait to marry my first same-sex couple. Also, remember about the Notice of Intended marriage, needs to be lodged in the next couple of days to be able to marry on 13 January 2018. Congratulations on your decision, I truly feel so happy for you! You will make an amazing married couple, I feel sure.

January 13th might seem to be a day that may be busy but there are enough Celebrants out there that you would be able to find one that you and your partner feel comfortable with.
