As your MC, I ensure your reception runs smoothly, on time, and with the perfect balance of warmth, professionalism, humour and energy. My role is to keep the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable, while guiding guests through the evening so everything flows seamlessly.
My MC services include:
- Pre-wedding planning meeting to run through your reception timeline, key moments and preferences
- Liaising with your venue and suppliers to keep everything on-point and running smoothly on the day
- Welcoming guests and officially opening the reception with a confident, engaging introduction
- Introducing the bridal party (if applicable) and creating a great entrance moment
- Managing the run sheet and keeping everything on schedule without the night feeling rushed
- Announcing key formalities, including speeches, meals, cake cutting, first dance and any special traditions
- Coordinating speeches (who’s up next, microphone handovers, timing and pacing)
- Maintaining a great atmosphere in the room with the right tone — polished, upbeat and never awkward
- Handling unexpected moments calmly and discreetly, keeping the night flowing smoothly
- Making professional announcements throughout the night, including venue information, bar details, guest instructions and final calls
- Closing the formalities and transitioning the reception into the party atmosphere
