im worried about my friends getting out of control can we have it dry for the ceremony or tell them no pre drinks
Writing vows
I'm so nervous can I use chatgpt
Greg Evans
The vows are the most important part of the ceremony. It is best, if you wish to write your own Vows, to do so from the heart. Write something lovely about your partner. I think about 250 words is just right. Don't go near professor Google, write in your own words and read them on the day with great feeling. Practise your vows over and over in the lead up to the ceremony so that on the day you will be feelin confident and not so nervous.
How can I pay tribute at my wedding to my dad who's no longer with us?
Dad passed away 12 months ago. Would love some ideas how I can still include him somehow.
Greg Evans
It is lovely to mention your Dad at your Wedding, Sadly as your Dad has passed away there are many levels to do this. One is a mention at the beginning of the ceremony before the bride arrives so as to not upset her but making sure Dad is included in the introductions and some nice words are mentioned. Two is much more prominent which may include a photo or a candle placed on a table at the side. I have also known brides to put Dads boots under the chair next to Mum. What ever is the best for you.

I think a dry ceremony is a great idea. It shows great respect from your guests to wait until the Ceremony is finished and then celebrate your marriage with a drink. Of course, it all depends on the type of ceremony you wish to have. There is no rule to say you can't have drinks before the ceremony but it is definatly something to look forward to if the guests wait until the marriage ceremony has finished. Cheers, Greg
