I have been a performer, educator, MC, and public speaker for over thirty years. Over the journey I have had countless jobs at weddings.

Chris was fantastic. He tailored the ceremony to suit us as a couple so well. We met up a couple of times before and it was all an extremely smooth process. Good sense of humour and he captured the crowd so well and was very professional but kept the ceremony quite casual which is what we wanted. Highly recommend Chris! Christopher is one of a kind! We cannot recommend him enough. Christopher created a ceremony which was perfectly balanced and filled with love and laughter. Leading up to our wedding, Christopher guided us through every step, he was professional, friendly, kind and very obliging. Chris was such an integral part of our wedding. As well as being our celebrant, he was the MC for our reception, and the DJ later on. Not only did it save us a heap of time, money and energy in the lead up, it was great to have a consistent voice throughout the day, and someone who understood the flow of the event from start to finish. Throughout the whole process, Chris was professional, easy to deal with, and helped make our day extra special. We worked with Chris for our wedding in September 2023. Chris was our celebrant, MC and DJ. Chris was fantastic to deal with, from our initial enquiry he guided us through the process and made us feel comfortable with it all. Chris was great to communicate with on the lead up to the day. Chris was absolutely fabulous! Exceeded everything we could have hoped for and spoke so beautifully as if he had know us for years about us and our relationship. From previous meetings feeling so comfortable like friends we knew he was the perfect person for the job. Cannot thank him enough for making our ceremony so perfect and so much fun could not have asked for someone with better delivery of jokes and general great presence helping out to getting everyone organised and most of all was happy to travel a long distance of a few hours back and forth for us. Do celebrants have a backup celebrant in case of emergencies?

Hello. I was wondering what happens if our celebrant is sick or something happens and they can't come to our wedding on the day? Do they usually have a backup celebrant in mind for this sort of thing? And how does it work with the legal side, would our marriage still be legal if another celebrant performed the ceremony? Thank you!

We are all connected to a network of celebrants that we know professionally and personally. I don't usually have anyone specific lined up for any one wedding, but if something should happen, I have little doubt I could source a replacement in time. And yes - there is a simple procedure for swapping the NOIM form over to a new celebrant, and nothing else should be too tricky.

How can I tell my sister her kids aren't invited to our wedding?

Hi there. We don't want to have kids at our wedding, but I also don't want to offend my sister. I adore my nieces but we want a particular vibe at our wedding. Any suggestions?

Can we get married in two weeks time?

We are heading on holiday and would love to be married in two weeks. What are our options?

Possibly. You'll need to apply for a shortening of your Notice Of Intent To Marry. You can find out more information and do so here:

If you can get that permission granted, you can go ahead with a legal marriage. Yell out if I can be of assistance :)
