Located in HERVEY BAY, QLD., although originally from the Mornington Peninsula, Vic. - where I return regularly to visit family and friends - I am happy to return to the Peninsula to perform a Ceremony created just for you. Your Hervey Bay Wedding Ceremony is already on my doorstep :) If you’d like a wedding in the Winter months, but it’s too cold ‘down there’, come on up. The whale’s will be playing, and so can you! Plus it’s just a hop, skip & jump, over to World Heritage listed K’gari - Fraser Island, a great Honeymoon Location.

I LOVE a short lead-up! So as long as you give me the required one-month's notice in advance (& you fulfill the legalities), I can preside over your Marriage.

It’s your day, & definitely not about me. My aim is to make sure you are happy & comfortable with our plans & ALL are enjoying themselves on the day: Leaving your individually crafted, personal & professional Marriage Ceremony to me! All YOU have to do is enjoy the occasion.

As an alternative to your Perfect Ceremony there is the option of an Intimate Gathering. Priced at (usually) $390 & includes a maximum attendance of 12 people only - including myself, the couple & your 2witnesses.

Bev is an amazing celebrant and a genuinely beautiful person. Right from the start we knew she was the perfect choice for our special occasion. She personalised the ceremony just for us and the questionnaire she uses to find out more about you as a couple is so much fun. She encouraged us to write our own vows and we are so pleased that she did. Also, we loved the fact that she encouraged us to include our family and friends to partake in the ceremony. We were exceptionally happy with how our ceremony went and her love and support throughout the whole process was amazing. She certainly went above and beyond her role as a celebrant! We couldn't be happier.

Is it OK to ask a celebrant to wear a costume at our wedding?

Hello! I've read some responses to celebrants dressing in a matching style etc. Is it rude to ask if they wouldn't mind wearing a costume? I've read somewhere a couple got married by batman and then the obvious Elvis option.. I like the idea of an iconic character and think it would be something to remember but wouldn't want to offend anyone or make it a bad experience. TIA

Absolutely :) The Celebrant will let you know IF they are happy to proceed, or not, in which case - you ask another. YES: by all means ask!

I love it when couples personalise their wedding. It is not for everyone, & you would be asked to cover the cost of associated costume hire.
