I've officiated hundreds of ceremonies over the last 17 years, but my journey started with a wedding-day disaster. On my own wedding day, our celebrant was MIA. It turned out he'd enjoyed a boozy lunch, forgotten about our wedding, and fallen asleep on the couch. Two hours later, he finally appeared. While it makes for a brilliant story now, it wasn't quite the vibe I was going for. That's why reliability became the foundation of everything I do as a celebrant.
