All communications with Connie were prompt, professional and personalised. Connie listened so attentively as she came along for the journey and learned our love story. She then used humour, honesty and clever wordsmith skills to tie it all together into a beautiful ceremony. Connie’s delivery on the day was authentic and heartfelt, as she captured the room and told our story. We highly recommend Connie to officiate and celebrate your special day.” - Samantha K.

“We couldn't be happier with the choice to have Connie as our wedding celebrant. She was, from the outset, extremely kind and generous in preparing us for our ceremony and tailoring it to reflect us. Her calm and joyful demeanour made the ceremony a pleasure for us and all who attended, and it felt like a friend was celebrating with us rather than a formality.” - Simon L.
FAQ
If that's how you're feeling, you're certainly not alone. It's something I hear from couples all the time.
My approach has never been about putting on a performance or making myself the focus of the ceremony. I believe the ceremony should feel like a true reflection of the two of you.
I'll take the time to get to know you, guide you through every step, and create a ceremony that feels natural, relaxed and genuine. On the day, my role is to quietly support you, keep things running smoothly, settle any nerves and help you enjoy the moment.
When your guests walk away, I don't want them talking about the celebrant. I want them saying, "That ceremony was so them."
I sure do. Elopements are perfect for a couple wanting a simple but beautiful ceremony for you and your witnesses
Not at all.
Planning a wedding can bring up lots of questions, and I'd much rather you ask than sit there wondering.
Whether you prefer a quick phone call, an email, or catching up in person, I'm here for you throughout the lead-up to your ceremony. Some couples only need a few conversations, while others enjoy chatting more regularly, and that's perfectly okay.
My goal is for you to feel supported, informed and confident every step of the way, never like you're on the clock.
Ask away!
There's no limit to how many times you can contact me. Whether you have one quick question or twenty, I'm always happy to help.
Planning your ceremony should feel exciting, not overwhelming, so you can reach out by phone, email or in person whenever you need a little guidance or reassurance. I'll be there from our first chat right through to your wedding day.
This usually depends on how many readings etc you put into your ceremony. However, the usual time a ceremony goes for is about 30 minutes
Standard pricing is for ceremonies based in Metropolitan Melbourne however I’m happy to travel far & wide.
I believe the most important skill I bring to my work is that of being trained to listen closely. Couples I've met typically remark that they feel heard re their needs and wishes, and what they are looking for. This enables us to develop an easy collaborative working relationship to create a perfect, tailor-made ceremony for each unique couple. I specialise in helping people feel relaxed and at ease so that they enjoy the whole process fom our first meeting, to the completion of the cermony when they're married!
I love hearing people say there's a lovely connection with the way I present and how much they feel on the same page with me. Everything about a wedding is meant to be one of the most special, memorable and fun experiences of your life. That's my goal as a celebrant!
Yes! I have collected an extensive range of samples of every script component that can make up a wedding ceremony. This includes many types of traditional and contemporary variations which couples, and their families and friends who are involved in the ceremony, can choose from, or get ideas from to formulate their own. Some examples of these components are in "The Giving Away", "The Asking" or "I DO's", different readings, music, lyrics, poetry and rituals, ring exchange formats and the content and style of personal vows. These components can be presented by individuals or collectively by groups of people. The wonderful thing about civil ceremonies is that couples have choice about the structure, content, length and style of the ceremony so they can be as creative, distinctive and personalized as they like!
My principal concern is to offer a quote that fits your budget! I am passionate about my work and know how to deliver a service which is enjoyable, user-friendly and as professional as possible. The price we negotiate includes everything I can offer to make your wedding the best it can be. This means no additional costs for travel, change of plans, number of meetings or contacts involved in preparation of the script, a rehearsal. It is my pleasure to give you all the help you need so that you can have the kind of ceremony you're dreaming of, and the time of your life on your big day!

Get Expert AdviceCatholic wedding celebrant in Gold Coast
My fiancé and I are planning to get married in Gold Coast and are looking for a celebrant who can incorporate our Catholic faith into the ceremony. While we understand that celebrants are unable to perform a full religious ceremony, we would love for the celebrant to profess the Catholic faith and include some scripture readings during the ceremony, as this is very important to us. If you know of anyone who could provide this type of service, we would greatly appreciate your recommendation. Thank you, Paula
