I am a happy, positive, warm and fun-loving person, who absolutely loves seeing people in love! I am extremely organised and will make sure any stressful moments are instantly calmed with clarity and care. Every wedding I have witnessed, I have not only been grateful to be a part of, but also cherished the close friendships that have naturally formed.

I will ensure that your Wedding Day will be special and stay in your memories forever. Your ceremony will reflect your individual personalities and the love that you both share. I have been a Senior English teacher for the last 10 years, so pride myself in totally tailoring each ceremony from scratch, so no two ceremonies are the same. I will ensure you experience a totally personalised, meaningful and heartfelt ceremony, unique with humour, heart and soul!

I am a perfectionist and take pride in my appearance, punctuality and presentation.

The whole ceremony process will be fun, exciting and I won’t stop until it is absolutely perfect!

I have been a Senior English teacher, and a writer, for over 15 years. Being a celebrant allows me to use my English skills; writing each of my ceremonies totally from scratch, so no two are ever the same. Dani, was excellent. Personalising our ceremony for us. Nothing too hard. She nailed it, when she knew the type of wedding we wanted. Our ceremony, was fun, casual . Very professional, even to the point of ensuring her clothes did not clash with the bridesmaids. Some of our guests also commented how good our ceremony and Dani was.

is there an extra charge to have a rehearsal?

Danielle Barker - Marriage Celebrant

A rehearsal should be a part of your celebrant's wedding package. It allows all parties involved to feel comfortable on the day. However, it is not compulsory, and many couples opt not to have a rehearsal, particulary if they would like it all to be a surprise on the day.

A rehearsal can be done at the venue, or any place that is mutually convenient for everyone. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any further questions.

When should I start to think about hiring a Celebrant?

Once you have your date booked, a celebrant should be next on your list. Make sure you do your research to find a celebrant that fits both you and your partners personalities and needs. They need to be able to listen to everything you want and be willing to go above and beyond to make your day everything you ever dreamt of and more. You need to feel comfortable with your celebrant as this is the start of a wonderful relationship and fun journey to having your perfect day!

can i have a religious ceremony not in a church?

Yes, you absolutely can have a religious ceremony wherever you like. However, if you would like to receive your Certificate of Marriage in that faith denomination, then you need to be married by a priest or minister of that religion. However, if you are happy with a non religious Certificate of Marriage, then a civil celebrant is all you need. A civil service also allows you the freedom to select what you would like in your ceremony. I have a Cert IV in Theology and Ministry, so I am more than happy to answer any further questions you have.
