FAQ
1. One important question you should be asking a potential Celebrant is - Whats their vibe?
This way you can determine if the way they write and conduct their ceremonies is the right fit for you.
My vibe is fun and relaxed.
2. Another important question is - Do we get to proof read our ceremony prior to the our day?
Some Celebrants dont like to show their clients their ceremony scripts prior to the day.
I personally insist that you proof read your love story. At the end of the day its your story and its your wedding day so I want you both to be happy with the story that is shared with your guests.
Its not compulsory to have a rehearsal but it is highly reccommended.
I personally love a rehearsal - it gives everyone that attends a bit of peace of mind.
You can pace out your bridal parties walk down the aisle to make sure that there is enough time left for the bride while the entrance music is playing.
Rehearsals make sure that everyone in the bridal party know where they stand on the day and give you an idea of how many chairs are available for your guests etc.
You can also work out the best place to have photos taken too.
You can plan so much at a rehearsal to ensure your day runs smoothly.
Yes, you can.
What an honour to have both your parents walk with you to the start of your marrried life.
In fact you can have anyone you please walk you down the aisle or you can walk by yourself.
Maybe your future partner can meet you half way down the aisle and you walk up together.
So many scenarios - there is no limit - its your day.
Yes, you can as long as you are not intoxicated and you are coherent.
If a celebrant suspects you are drunk then your wedding cannot be legalised.
You can have the ceremony but minus all the legal wording and signing of the legal paperwork.
That part of your ceremony will have to be arranged possibly the next day and that would come with an extra cost by the celebrant.
Legally a celebrant cannot marry anyone that is under the influence of drugs and or alcohol.

Sandra Edwards Celebrant
Hello, thank you for letting me answer you question for you.
Most (I will not say all) celebrants have a kilometre radius that is inclusive in the pricing as per the package chosen. Any extra kilometres after - say for example 50km is usually charged at $1 per kilometre.
I hope this explanation helps.
can I ask where in the country you are looking to get married. There are so many beautiful places around.
Please feel free to ask for more clarification and any other questions you need answered.
Kind regards
