I truly love getting to know my couples and what has brought them to make the decision to get married. I work hard to create ceremonies that reflect your vibe, and also fit with your crowd. I love including your guests in the ceremony and letting them know how important they will be through all the days of your marriage.
I specialise in simple but fabulous ceremonies, with equal amounts of humour and heart.
Most couples are after a relaxed, fresh, friendly approach to their ceremony, and it's so important to get it right because the ceremony is what kicks off your wedding and sets the tone for the whole day.
Guests always think I'm an old friend of the couple! I really pride myself on getting to know you and getting the tone of your ceremony right.
I love a bit of crowd participation and banter! My mission is to allow everyone to feel so comfortable they WANT to chime in, including you two! I warm the crowd up and let them know what they're going to be asked to do (ie, if the ceremony is unplugged, if they will be asked to throw flower petals, or stick around for a group photo).
I make sure to meet your families, wedding party, photographer, videographer and musicians before the ceremony.
If you are nervous about public speaking, I will help you through it.
My background is professional theatre (Priscilla, Hairspray, Dreamlover, Sydney Theatre Company), I've toured my cabaret shows around the world, and I'm a voiceover artist (this might be familiar to you: "Peppa Pig, 5pm weekdays on ABC kids!)" Now my hubby and I operate a pub in Wyong on the NSW Central Coast.
But your wedding day is not about me, it's about YOU! I use my years of experience in front of a crowd to create a relaxed and happy mood for you and your guests.
I can also MC your reception! Let’s face it, asking a guest to stick to the run sheet is hard work (especially after 17 champagnes). As your MC I work with everyone (caterer, venue, photographer, videographer, Aunty Mary) to make sure the whole reception runs smoothly. So you can just chill and enjoy the day, and let the professionals do their job.

Even if you don't really know what you want, I will give you lots of suggestions.
I am more expensive than a lot of other celebrants, if you want a cheap celebrant, I'm not your girl. My pricing is a reflection of the time and effort and experience I bring to the whole day. As they say in the classics, you get what you pay for!
My rate for a fabulous ceremony is $1800.
I can also marry you in a legals-only elopement, $850. Super simple! It's just us, very low key, with 2 witnesses, usually at home or at a beach.
My rate to MC is $800
I don't charge travel fees for the Hunter Valley, Central Coast or Sydney.
Blue Mountains travel fee $300
I bring my PA system, and take care of all the legal documents.
