OVERVIEW

I am a wordsmith and over the past twenty years have written personal and meaningful words for every occasion. Let me bring your ceremony to life by turning your thoughts into the perfect, personal and individual celebration.

On one of the most important, special and magical days of your life, I would be delighted and honoured to be your celebrant and help you create a memorable and truly personal and significant expression of your love.

Do you have children you want to bring into the ceremony? A special role for them to play? Your wedding should be designed the way you want it to be. After all, it’s not my special day – it’s not the guests’ special day … it’s yours!

When choosing me as your Celebrant:

-I will offer constant support
-I will provide guidance and recommendations for your ceremony.
-I will provide ideas for vows, poems, readings, prayers and religious ceremonies.
-We will get together to complete your NOIM.
-I will offer a rehearsal prior to your wedding day.
-I will provide my own PA system.
-I will arrive early and make sure everything is in order on the day.

When the signing is complete, I will present you with your official certificate of marriage, then quietly leave the venue so that you can begin your celebrations.

Hello, I'm Jen... It's a pleasure to meet you! I have an enthusiastic zest for life with enough youthful exuberance to be spontaneous, innovative and exciting, and enough wisdom to do every job well and on time. I have total belief in the sanctity of marriage and am lucky enough to have married my soul mate 26 years ago and brought three amazing children into this world. I live on the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula and am happy to travel anywhere to be your celebrant.

FAQ

What is the first step?

When you have made the decision to use me as your celebrant and reserved your day and time, I will email you a package for you to consider with sample ceremonies including vows, poems, readings, prayers, religious ceremonies, ring ceremonies and songs along with some personal questions to help me in my journey of getting to know you and helping to plan your perfect ceremony.

We will then get together and complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and begin the discussion of what you want for your ceremony. Between this time and your wedding day I am available by phone or email at any time and I will email your draft ceremony for your changes or approval - until we get it right!

Should we have a rehearsal?

I prefer it if we can hold a rehearsal close to the day of the wedding (some couples prefer not to – this is up to you).

What happens on the day?

On the day I will arrive early, set up the PA system and ensure everything is in order from my perspective. I’ll help to calm any nerves, then carry out your special ceremony according to your wishes. It is my job to create magic according to the law and ensure you are properly and legally married, but it is not my job to shine … I’ll leave that up to you!

Jen couldn’t have been better. She was pleasant and friendly from first contact to last. She understood what we had in mind for our wedding day and fitted into our plans seamlessly. We constantly relive the magical moments we shared with so many people on our wedding day. One thing which keeps coming up (and we know we will never forget) is how beautiful the ceremony was.
