How do we know we have chosen the right celebrant?

You know you have chosen the right celebrant when you feel at ease with them on your first meeting with them.

You must feel confident that they will work with you to make your ceremony reflect your style and personality. You have dealings with your celebrant for usually a year or more and want someone that you feel comfortable to ask any questions of them. A celebrant should fit in with you and create the perfect ceremony in co-ordination with you. So I suggest you meet with a few celebrants to find the right fit for both the bride and the groom

When should we book you?

You should book your celebrant as soon as decide they are the celebrant you want to ensure that the date and time are locked in for your wedding day.

Are you prepared to travel?

Yes I am prepared to travel and I have no set distance and will take it on a wedding by wedding basis.

Do you have a PA system?

I have my own PA system which is also battery operated for out door weddings.

Should we have a rehearsal?

I advise all my couples to have a rehearsal if possible. This ensures that everyone in the wedding party knows where to stand and what is how the ceremony will be conducted. The bride and groom know where to stand and feel comfortable for the wedding day.

I find a lot of brides are still getting walked down the aisle by either their father or a family members. Also a lot of brides are taking on their husbands names as well. They all seem

to like to follow the traditional wedding format.

Is it possible to get married at the registry and then have a wedding later?

YOu may get married at a registary office and then a have a marriage ceremony that is not legal as you cannot get married twice. So the ceremony can be the same as it would legally without any of the legal words
