About

I started out as a bridal fashion stylist many years ago - giving brides hot tips on looking the best on their big day. I then transitioned into events and have had the privilege of delivering some of Brisbane's biggest events, including Riverfire! For the past 5 years, I've been a celebrant and I LOVE it! Some quirky facts about me: my name rhymes with lasagne, I've travelled to 50 countries, I have a kidney transplant, I was once a double in a famous movie, and I have two adorable oodle dogs.

If you are looking to save some dollars, and would love nothing more than having your best friend or your family member "marry you", I offer a cheaper package - my friends and family package. This is where I take care of the legal side of things, write the ceremony speech, and one of your friends (or a family member) "officiates" the ceremony on the day with me off to the side ready for the legalities. This package is just $450!

This is an all inclusive package for a standard wedding with me. It covers the legalities, the PA system, all ceremony planning, and as many speech edits as you like. An affordable package at $700.

There is LOTS we can do! As the self-titled, Queen of Fun, I will always endeavour to give you the best experience that is completely suited to you as a couple. Here's just a few ideas....

  • Witness lottery
  • Groomsmen to hand-out beers or mini-spirits
  • Do a liquid courage tequila shot before vows
  • Scissors/paper/rock for who does vows first
  • Have a pet "sign" as a "witness" commemorative certificate

My FAVOURITE two are the "love letters" and "ring warming"

  • Love letters: you write a love letter to each other with all your big feelings to each other (what you felt on your first date, the first time you realised you loved them, all the things you love about them...). Then, you lock away those sealed love letters with a bottle of spirits or aging wine and open it on your 5th wedding anniversary.
  • Ring warming: before walking down the aisle, we pass around the rings. Guests hold onto the rings for a couple of moments and pour their well wishes and hopes for the two of you into the rings. Then when you put the rings on that have all the amazing love infused from all your favourite people.

  • Lead a ritual (this is great for a hand-fasting ritual)
  • Read a peom or literary excerpt
  • Be a witness
  • Be the ring bearer
  • Be the only person allowed to film the ceremony

  • Double check the venue's wet weather plan
  • Bury a sausage (it's an old wives tale, but some people swear by it!)
  • Hire an Etsy witch to do a spell
  • Hire my 50 clear umbrellas for $100

  • Mixed gender, and uneven wedding parties are NORMAL
  • Guests holding iPads in the middle of the aisle should be illegal
  • Nana's make elite flower girls
  • Dogs wearing bowties make all ceremonies 60% better
  • Your wedding party should always pitch in for DIYs
