Sober hens activities can be every bit as fun as traditional ones! Here are a few ideas that focus on bonding, creativity, relaxation and quality time with the bride:

* Group Dance Class: Our dance classes run to a chosen theme or dance style - or even just the bride's fave tune! SO much fun and laughs guaranteed!

* Creative Workshops:  Cooking or Baking class or something crafty like jewelery making or a painting class with the girls!

* Games night: Whip out the board or card games or create a fun trivia night with fun questions related to the bride and groom!

* Movie Night: Indoor or Oudoor movie night. Set up a projector and the brides favourite movie and snacks and you have a night everyone will love!

Heaps! At Metropolis Fremantle, the night’s just as fun without the booze.

  • Challenge Spinner: Our punch card ties in with a spinning wheel of dares — some involve drinks, but there are always non-alcoholic options too. Think dance-offs, crowd karaoke, photo challenges, and cheeky team tasks.
  • Retro Room Takeover: Bring your own DJ vibe and dance like it’s 2001.

Let us know you’re going sober — we’ll tailor the experience so it still hits.

Hi there,

Thank you for your question! All of our Home Makers Club experiences are designed to be joyful, inclusive, and completely adaptable—so yes, every activity can be enjoyed sober. We often serve beautiful herbal teas, sparkling waters, and other non-alcoholic options to keep the vibes high and the creativity flowing! Whether you’re painting, beading, collaging, or crafting your heart out, you’ll feel right at home with or without a drink in hand.

Come sip tea, soak in the moment, and get lost in the magic of making.

Have a wonderful day on purpose,

Becca

Absolutely! There are heaps of great sober-friendly activities for a hens day that are still loads of fun. Some popular ideas include:

  • Flower crown or jewellery-making workshops
  • High tea or brunch at a nice venue
  • Paint and sip (with mocktails or tea instead of alcohol)
  • DIY spa or pamper day
  • Dance or yoga class
  • Outdoor adventures like a scavenger hunt, beach picnic or nature walk
  • Cooking or baking classes

It really depends on your group’s vibe – there are so many options that don’t revolve around drinking but still make for a great day out!
