Photography, I fell in love with it when I photographed my first wedding with jakethomas photography over six years ago. 

Since then, I've photographed over 300 weddings, journeying through these many unique stories between partners. 

Stories are important, especially the love story when boy meets girl. The countless times this stories been told there is always a different way in telling it. And this is how I approach my photography–differently. I express my photographs in a "fine art" mentality, but overlay it with a documentary feel to release my sense of creativity. To be honest, it's not about what I think of the photographs, but you. I am just honored to be a part of your story. 

After purchasing jakethomas photography in 2011, I partnered with jakethomas New Zealand to form one of the most popular studios spanning Newcastle, Australia, Hunter Valley, and New Zealand. I am blessed to be a part of an intense group of photographers that push the limit when it comes to creative imagery. 

Nicholas commonly photographs in Australia, with the occasional New Zealand wedding. He currently focuses on destination weddings, edging into the US, Canada, and Mexico.  

Passionate is the best word to describe both the vision of our Studio and the individual Photographers here at Jake Thomas Photography.

For the last 10 years we have strived to be the leading wedding Photography Studio in our region.

In 2011 Jake has moved to New Zealand to pioneer or New Zealand Studio, however he is still available for Australian weddings.
