On average, photographers spend 8 hours
on the day with you plus additional hours
scouting photo locations and editing
photos. It’s important when looking at
photography quotes to look at the quality
of photos to ensure that this meets
your standards and style.
One of the biggest wedding regrets we
hear from couples is not investing
properly in their photography.
This is generally enough time for the photographer to cover some getting ready shots, the ceremony and start of the reception. Expect around 400 photos.
This package is perfect for the preparation shots, ceremony, after ceremony photo time and all the key elements of your reception. Expect around 600-700 photos.
The majority of couples choose a 10-hour package, as it gives the photographer the ability to capture everything from getting ready photos all the way to the dancefloor. Expect 800-900 photos.
If you don’t want your photographer to miss a single moment , we recommend booking a full-day 12-hour package. You'll have more than enough images to update your Instagram for a lifetime! Expect 900+ photos.
Photography can come in all colours, tones and styles. It’s important for our supplier specialists to know what suits you best to ensure they choose the perfect match for you.
From light and airy to dark and moody, we have a wide range of different suppliers to suit every couple.

Video is similarly priced to photography, there’s the time spent filming plus a lot of time spent editing.
It is important when looking at videography quotes to look at the quality of film to ensure that this meets your standards and style.
One of the biggest wedding regrets we hear from couples is not investing properly in their videography.
When searching for your marriage celebrant, we suggest meeting them face-to-face.
Many couples choose their celebrant based on their personality, calmness, and good humour.
You can expect rates of $800-$1,500 though peak times of year may be more expensive.
It’s the age old question: DJ or band?
Hiring a DJ is typically the lower cost option for your reception music.
Many couples do a combination of some live music during the ceremony and reception. An acoustic duo for ceremony and canapes, followed by a DJ for dancing is a huge trend in recent years.
Typically bands will play 4 X 45 minute sets and have a sound system to play tracks between these times.
A DJ usually starts playing at the start of the reception and is hired for the duration (5-6hrs)
Acoustic Duos are great if you are looking to have the live music atmosphere - indie covers of all the classics make for a beautiful wedding vibe.
If you are after the upbeat, dancing, groovy tunes a band is the way to go!
For specific instruments, like trumpet, saxophone or keyboard, we suggest looking into a band with more than 3 musicians
Wanting to rock, jazz, swing and dance the night away? A large band is the perfect option!
Most common is 5 hours
Transportation costs vary based on location, however, the average cost our couples reported for using transport for the wedding party only was $1300.
Don’t forget about your transport home, a traditional classic car for the two of you to ride off into the night, makes for the perfect close to any amazing reception!
Your wedding vehicles should compliment your theme and venue.
Limousines can seat anywhere from 10 - 16 passengers. Expect a red carpet and a celebrity style entrance.
Hummer Limousines are all the rage for larger bridal parties - with extra leg room, the whole bride tribe can comfortably sit inside on the way to your big day.
Classic or vintage cars are a gorgeous way to arrive or leave your wedding, add a touch of class with a Rolls Royce or Bentley.
This one is for the car enthusiast. The old school Hot Rod or Mustang is always a certified way to make a grand entrance.
After something more modern and sleek? Why not opt for an Audi or a BMW. Luxe out with all the extras from heated seats to tinted windows.
Most couples hire a photobooth for the duration of their reception, so, we recommend you factor in about 4-6 hours of hire time.
Additional customisation like hashtag and strip design is all part of the process!
Backdrop and prop hire may be an additional charge.
Many brides choose to have their hair and makeup done professionally for themselves , plus a couple of other key people. Usually, the bride to be is charged at a slightly higher price to the others, as a stylist will spend the most time with the bride to ensure perfection.
Updos or Hollywood curls? Our recommended fully qualified Hair & Makeup artists can help you to look and feel beautiful.
We always recommend having a trial with your chosen artist to make sure you feel confident and comfortable with their work.
Most artists will charge in the $220-$250 per person range.
Flowers vary greatly in price. If you want orchids, peonies, and hydrangeas, expect a higher floral quotation. In addition to flowers, pricing may include: delivery, set up/ packdown and transport.
If you are looking for a budget saver, opt for more greenery than flowers.
Florals are a great way to bring your vision to life and style your space, whether it’s a blank canvas venue or a traditional ballroom, florals can make all the difference!
There are so many different combinations with florals that you can utilise them for every budget
Bridal Bouquet + Bridesmaids Bouquets - Grooms Buttonhole + Groomsmen Buttonholes (are parents wanting buttonholes/corsages?)
Do you require florals at your ceremony?
Does your venue provide styling for guests tables? Don't forget about the bridal table.
Will you need pillars, cake table flowers, hanging installations or other kinds of floral decor?
