We reached out to Leanne to see if she would be able to provide us with the 'legals only' portion of our wedding ceremony, as we wanted my partners brother to be our "celebrant" on the day. What a wonderful, effortless and loving experience we had! Leanne listened to our requests and provided us with such awesome suggestions and tips to help us create the personalised ceremony of our dreams. She was incredibly supportive of our vision and we could tell she genuinely cared about us having the most meaningful ceremony possible. We wanted to write our own ceremony, but Leanne went above and beyond providing us with scaffolding and editing suggestions. Even though she was not running a full ceremony as normal, she met with us to put all the final touches together and made sure that my brother-in-law felt confident on the day. Leanne gave us so much of her time and energy, which really helped put my mind at ease (self-confessed type-A bride over here). At our ceremony, Leanne was punctual, organised, efficient and immaculately dressed. She helped our family and friends feel comfortable and fit right into the group. If you want a celebrant who genuinely LOVES weddings, and who is friendly, engaging, highly-organised and on top of everything, then contact Leanne. I cannot rate our experience highly enough. Our ceremony was held on the Riverbend Terrace, and even in the full heat of February it was such a beautiful, picturesque, calm and intimate location. Odette was our event coordinator for the day and I am so grateful to have met her. She was so down to earth, friendly and calm and brought such a wonderful energy to our wedding day. Nothing was too much to ask and she handled everything efficiently and effortlessly. Just brilliant! I also need to give a special mention to the Powerhouse staff in general. There was a fairly major event happening downstairs simultaneously to our ceremony, but everything was so well planned and organised that we hardly even noticed. We had so many staff give us a helping hand on the day, and their small gestures made us feel so relaxed and cared for.
