It was only pretty late in our planning process that we realised we would need a DJ. We had previously planned to just play music through an iPad, but the speakers at our venue may not have been able to produce the kind of volume we needed. So, having not budgeted for a DJ, we searched for someone cost-effective with a good reputation, and we found it in Mobydisc. Our DJ arrived and set up well in advance of the wedding, and even killed some time during dinner, when we didn't need DJ music. He was dressed well and played songs from the playlist we had previously set up on the Mobydisc website. He could also play a few songs not in the Mobydisc library directly from our iPhones. Everyone had a great time on the dancefloor.

Seclusions was, basically, the catalyst for our getting married. We had always known we wanted to be together forever, but it was our midweek romantic stay at Seclusions that showed us where and how we wanted to get married. It was everything we could have dreamed. Pictures of the venue speak for themselves, the location is stunning, and the Seclusions team become like family. Being a DIY venue you really get to go your own way and make your wedding look and feel exactly as you wish. On the day, Russ and Malynda take care of details I didn't know, and honestly still probably don't know, needed to be dealt with. I was sceptical about the whole "best day of your life" thing, but our wedding truly was, and a huge part of that is because we had it at Seclusions.

If I reflect on all the weddings I've been to in my life, I honestly can't remember many celebrants. To me, the celebrant had felt like a not-that-important detail. So, we didn't explicitly search for the world's most charming and memorable celebrant but by gosh we found him. Apart from your location, the celebrant is the first wedding element your guests encounter, and it has the power to set the tone for the whole day. We wanted a fun, light-hearted, but still warm and loving atmosphere, which Ben created perfectly. Ben oozes charisma, and had my husband and I, and all our guests gushing and laughing hysterically. Using questionnaire answers we provided, Ben wrote us a bespoke ceremony that was "us" to a tee, you would think he had known us forever. Safe to say, Ben is one celebrant we and everyone will remember, and for all the best reasons.
