We were so happy when Diana agreed to be our celebrant!! She jumped in to save the day after there was a change to our original celebrant’s availability, just 3 months before the big day. She navigated the complexity of changing over the NOIM and used her attention to detail to uncover a small error that could have delayed the process for us. She was proactive in searching for answers and conferring with colleagues to ensure the advice she was providing on this unusual issue was correct. She also took the time to confirm the pronunciation of our unusual names and worked with us to create a unique ceremony script - being patient with our many versions to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Her experience being in front of the camera showed on the day as she was calm and collected, even during a hiccup when we had to stand at the altar, holding hands for a long time (which could have been awkward) waiting for the rest of the family members to arrive. She made us feel at ease and made the whole day so special. I only found out much later that we had the honour of being the first couple she married, she was so professional through the process I thought she’d done it a thousand times!! After the ceremony, she processed all the legal documents for us, and took the time to reach out later on to ensure we got everything. We really appreciated this extra level of care as we’ll be using the certificate for visa purposes so it’s one less thing off our plate! Diana, thank you again.
