Maddie and Ante’s Legian wedding

Maddie and Ante’s love story started five years ago at work. Proving that office perks are the ones that you least expect, what began as colleagues quickly turned into something so much more. Ante eventually dropped to one knee and, in true rom-com style, turned his work crush into his fiancée.

Their big moment happened cliffside at Padma Resort Legian in Bali, where Maddie, suitably dressed in white, walked arm in arm with her mum towards Ante. The sky lit up a luminescent orange, and with no clouds in sight, Ante popped the question.

Maddie, of course, said yes. Their picture-perfect moment caught the attention of social media, and the clip has now amassed over five million views, with not a dry eye in the house (or, at least, the comment section).

Two years later, the couple had their full-circle moment, when at the very place that Ante popped the question, the couple said “I do”.

When it came to the wedding, for bride, Maddie, it was important that her wedding reflected her values. As the founder of sustainable fashion label Audrey Atelier, sourcing a second-hand Danielle Frankel gown on Still White was an ethically sourced way to breathe life into a pre-loved wedding dress. It felt deeply personal, “As the founder of my own brand, where repurposing and considered fashion is at the heart of everything we do, it was so special to carry that philosophy into my wedding day,” she explains.

For her second look, she leaned on Sydney designer Clem Bridal.

Their ceremony took place on the presidential suite lawn, where 65 of their nearest and dearest gathered in an intimate and elegant setting. Silver Dust Decor styled the day beautifully, with every detail brought to life under the guidance of Shierly from the Padma team—the same incredible woman who helped Ante plan the engagement.

Capturing every heartfelt moment was Sweet Summer Bali, with Ur BTS documenting the behind-the-scenes content. Maddie did her own makeup on the day, while her hair was styled by Eria Hairdo.

The evening continued with a stylish reception at Padma Resort Legian, where Maddie and Ante celebrated surrounded by love, laughter, and the magic of Bali.
