Cassandra and Zeth’s rustic Villa Vineyard wedding

Cassandra and Zeth’s story began on Bumble. Zeth proposed at Second Valley, in the ‘secret beach’ around the cliff face, with their two-month-old daughter by their side.

Cassandra wanted a balance between organisation and a relaxed vibe. “Zeth is the most laid back, relaxed, and funny guy I know… and I am well, the opposite,” she shares. They found their perfect venue on the first visit. Cassandra loved the stunning property with designated areas for the ceremony and reception, and on-site accommodation. “It was everything I had dreamed of rolled into one,” she says, adding that the family-owned aspect made it feel even more homely.

The ceremony took place in a grassed area by the house, surrounded by a rose garden. 100 guests were present, seated on white Americana chairs in front of an old tree and rustic arbour. Cocktail hour was held in another grassed area next to a large open shed with exposed brick walls and fairy lights. Guests enjoyed a grazing table, drinks, lawn games, a photo booth, and DJ entertainment. After the formalities, the concreted space was opened for dancing.

Cassandra and Zeth wouldn’t change a thing about their wedding day. “It was perfect,” Cassandra says, despite a minor hiccup when Zeth’s jacket button fell off moments before she walked down the aisle! The key factors for Cassandra and Zeth were a relaxed vibe, family ownership, and natural beauty.
