Anastasia and Robert’s Anantara Uluwatu wedding
On 1 June 2025, Anastasia and Robert got their closest friends and family on the cliffs of Uluwatu, Bali, for an unforgettable wedding planned by Destination by Easy Weddings.
With the glittering Indian Ocean as the backdrop, the couple exchanged views in one of the island’s most breathtaking locations: a glass-fronted clifftop chapel at Anantara Uluwatu.

Perched high above the ocean, Uluwatu is famous for its dramatic coastal cliffs, world-class waves, and picturesque sunsets. For Anastasia and Robert, the call of luxury meets natural beauty and Bali cool was heard loud, and their intimate and stylish celebration drew on all these factors.
Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort is all about delivering an experience that combines modern design, Balinese heritage, and most importantly – uninterrupted ocean views. The resort boasts 74 private suites and villas, which allows the couple and their guests to have a private stay in a tropical paradise.
The ceremony itself was held in the most epic of places: a clifftop glass chapel. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, the framed panoramic views of the ocean below provides the most unique and breathtaking backdrop to exchange vows. Anastasia looked the picture perfect bride in a beautiful gown with a flowing lace train and long veil to match. Robert was the dapper groom in a sharp and perfectly tailored tuxedo.
With the sound of the soft waves as the natural soundtrack for the wedding, the stylish pair said “I do”.
Following the vows, the couple stole away a bit of time to capture this special moment. The portraits along the cliffside will give them memories to revisit for years to come.
When entering into the reception, Anastasia and Robert adorned bejewelled party sunnies with ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ written over the lenses. This was the sign that the party was due to start.
A sit-down formal dinner was put on with Anantara’s renowned dining options served to the guests, a menu customised just for the couple. The drinks included a mix of mocktails, cocktails, and wines. For cocktails, the menu featured signature island-inspired drinks such as the Arizt Mojito crafted from locally sourced ingredients, the ever-favourite Aperol Spritz, and tropical Piña Coladas.
As the night went on, Anastasia surprised everyone with a second look — a flirty short gown with an emerald green bodice (a nod to her bridesmaid’s gown), statement sleeves, and a ruffled hemline, designed for the dance floor. Which was fitting considering the newlyweds were straight into celebrating, dancing the night away before making their sparkler-lit exit to start the rest of their lives together.
More than just a venue, Anantara Uluwatu offered Anastasia and Robert the chance to turn their wedding into a multi-day celebration. With luxurious accommodation, two restaurants for hosting pre- and post-wedding events, and amenities like a split-level infinity pool, a rejuvenating spa, and access to local adventures.
From start to finish, Anastasia and Robert’s wedding at Anantara Uluwatu captured the very essence of what makes Bali such a beloved destination: romance, natural beauty, and unforgettable experiences — all perched high above the crashing waves of Uluwatu’s cliffs.
