O Christmas tree: Christmas-inspired wedding goals

15 years ago when American blogger Sarah Vickers and her new boyfriend Kiel James Patrick planted a tiny sapling at Henry’s Christmas Tree Farm in Rhode Island, they couldn’t have imagined they’d one day marry at that same spot.

Sarah, the brains behind fashion and lifestyle blog Classy Girls Wear Pearls, and James married in a traditional December wedding that would make any Christmas loving individual pine tree green with envy.

Their lush wedding location, which has been operating for 56 years, not only holds visual value to the couple, (who make no secret of their love for Christmas on their respective Instagram accounts), but also great sentimental value, as the Christmas tree farm in Hope, Rhode Island is where they planted a tree together 15 years earlier.

Around the time Sarah and Kiel first met they planted their first tree at Henry’s Christmas Tree Farm, and the couple have continued their tradition ever since, each year making a visit to purchase a tree for the festive season.

The couple’s wedding was celebrated with family and friends attending the nuptials at their unique location, and the groom even paused the ceremony briefly to take a selfie with his bride.

Among their stylized wedding photographs, the couple have also shared an image of themselves visiting the tree farm exactly five years prior to their special day.
