when are wedding venues cheapest?

For The Retreat our cheapest packages fall June - August during the low season. Our venue is indoors and is a very comfortable and warm space.

Wedding venues generally have specials in winter, or for short lead weddings, if you are getting married within 3 months of your enquiry. 

RACV City Club has both a short lead and winter special going at the moment for 2019.

We do have a peak season and a low season. We hire our areas or the entire restaurant for a minimum spend. The minimum spend varies a lot on the day, on how many guests are attending an the month you were thinking of to hol you special day. Zimzala's peak season is November, December, January and February. Also the day makes a huge difference in the minimum spend price (Buesiest days: Saturay and Sunday lunch). Our beautiful function packages start from $99 per person.

At The Lock-Up our prices are currently the same throughout the year and for any day of the week. We offer economical options in the form of shorter hire periods.

Usually the best "value for money" packages are in a short lead booking timeframe. The "cheapest" venues might only be a price per person for food and beverage and then you have to buy everything on top of that which adds up!
