Does the bride's side traditionally sit on the left or the right at the ceremony?

We find this is personal prefernce.

Our tips are -

- If you are having an outdoor ceremomy to consider the direction of the wind so that your veil doesnt fly across your face and if you are having an hair emeblishments that you wish to show off.  Also to pin your veil in (always) to help kee it secured.

- Be as comfortabe as you can by standing close to one another, even side by side with your celebrant to the opposite side of you this way you are facing your guests and it can be a much more comforting experience for you both.

- Have your family sit on the opposite side to you so that they are looking at you.

Traditionally in Christian ceremonies the Bride's side of the family will sit on the left, with the Groom's side on the right. However we are finding this less and less common with many couple opting to remove this from their organising.
