Do most venues provide this or do I need to look around? I don't know if I need it, but we have a large group (210) so I wanted to know if that means I need it? Also what is the ratio of security to guests?

Hi Kyle
We have one security person at our venue but we sometimes bring in more security if numbers of guests attending are a very large amount.
Hi,
Usually security is not required but depending on the size of the group/age. For larger groups it is always best to have security to ensure your special day runs as smoothly as possible. Our venue arranges security based on the number of guests.
Thanks.
Our venue arranges security based on the number of guests.
Yes, just someone helping in case young people get out of hand., It doesnt always happen but you can get the occassional guest that may get alittle over excited !
Depending on the size of the group it can not hurt to get some extra bodies to help look after your guests.
Depends on the venue and what state you are in. NSW you need a security for over 100 guests in a licensed venue usually.
We prefer a wedding of that size to be held during day light hours with security and parking attendants on our Estate Green. Our wedding are preferably for 130 maximum.
For larger groups it is always best to have security to ensure your Special Day runs as smoothly as possible. The hotel would organise this for you and would provide 2 - 3 guards.
