When it comes to the choice of a cocktail or seated reception, we find the results split fairly evenly with our clients.

Many opt for the more relaxed casual affair of a cocktail celebration, enjoying the opportunity to mingle with their guests throughout the entire event. Food trucks make cocktail-style events even more unexpected and fun.

The remaining 50% of clients love the idea of a more traditional seated function, with the added perk of being able to control where guests are seated. A more structured celebration, you can time speeches with food service. Remember, it is your day, so do what YOU want! It's not uncommon for our table set-ups to feature the happy couple seated amongst guests, with no bridal table.

At the end of the day your wedding "celebration" should truly be celebrated how you desire.

We love having the option of a cocktail style wedding, as it's more casual than a sit down reception. A cocktail style reception can be slightly less structured and more relaxed, as guest do not need to be seated by a certain time to enjoy their meal. At the end of the day, it is completely up to you how formal or casual you are wanting your reception to be. If you have a cocktail style reception, make sure you have a comfy pair of shoes!
