How do all of our guests get to and from the venue?

Guests can use their own cars as we have ample parking available onsite. Alternatively we can provide contact details of shuttle bus companies.

Do you cater for specific dietary requirements?

Yes, we do. All guests who have allergies or specific dietary requirements can be catered for. We just need the information 3 weeks prior to your wedding date and an alternative meal will be provided. We do not cater for intolerances or dislikes.

Can we have a date set aside whilst we decide?

No tentative dates are permitted. If you would like to secure a date you are interested in, then we require a deposit to secure that date. The deposit is fully refundable within the first 30 days of payment.

What is the next step once the deposit is paid?

Once a deposit of $1,000 is paid and confirmed a personalised booking agreement is then sent out for you to sign in agreement to our terms and conditions. After this is completed we then discuss our next meeting. All monies paid go towards the final payment.

How long does an event go for?

Lunch celebrations and cocktail functions are for a duration of 4 hours and a seated dinner event lasts for 5 hours.

Can we have a longer duration than 5 hours for our event?

Yes, you can pay for extra event time at a per person cost.

Do you have disabled access?

Yes, we do. We have access to the building via ramps including dedicated disabled parking bays and disabled toilets on both floors.

We planned our wedding from overseas, and Graham and the staff at Skyhigh made it seem like an absolute breeze. I am a very organized person and I loved how the venue provided us with an Event Order that detailed the schedule and all important details of the night and the venue followed that schedule to a T! The atmosphere was formal and elegant, which was the wedding that I always wanted. The space is incredible and the view is even better! But the best part of it all was Graham, the event coordinator for Skyhigh. He made sure we got the wedding we dreamt of and more! He is super friendly and easy to work with and definitely knows his stuff and knows how to make sure it all runs smoothly. Can't say enough good things about the venue, the staff, or the food! 10/10 would recommend!

Graham and his team are an absolute goal team to work with, we instantly fall in love with this place and the people, it was love at first sight! We signed with this venue being our first and final choice and it did not disappoint! Our experience with this venue is incredible and magical, it will forever be in our memories for many years to come! This venue was surprisingly affordable and the views left us speechless! We will miss working this Graham and his team!

I couldn’t thank Graham and his team at Skyhigh enough for the terrific job they did to help make our wedding the amazing day it was. Graham was so thoughtful throughout the whole process, especially given all the added delays and rescheduling due to covid. He was approachable, flexible and gave us helpful guidance with the wedding planning. Needless to say the venue and view are beautiful. Our family and friends also enjoyed the lovely food and service. We really appreciate the effort and care that Graham and his team have put in and would highly recommend Skyhigh!

I can't decide! Round or rectangle tables?

What are the pros and cons of round or rectangle tables? What do most couples choose?

SkyHigh Mount Dandenong

At SkyHigh, we use round tables for your guests and a rectangular bridal table which works best with the shape of our room. We find the round banquet style tables to be more personal so your guests can interact with everyone on the table. Long rectangular tables can often feel like you are only able to speak with the few people next to or accross from you, however they can look absolutely beautiful if you prefer that look!

At the end of the day, it is absolutely up to you and your personal preference! Each venue will have their own recommendation depending on the layout of their room.

Is it likely our wedding quotes could change because of the cost of living?

We are starting to get prices for our wedding reception, for our wedding that's 18 months away. If we make a booking and pay a deposit, is the price guaranteed, given the cost of everything keeps going up?

All venues will have their own policies and T's and C's. At SkyHigh, we give you a quote and once the date holding payment and booking agreement has been signed, we honour the price per person until the day of you wedding.

How to make sure our wishing well is secure at our reception

We're having a wishing well instead of a gift registry. I had a thought, about the security of the actual wishing well itself as it will contain cash. Any tips/advice?

At SkyHigh, the wishing well is placed in the area in front of the bar. This is a high traffic area, and constantly has a staff member nearby. Some couples also choose to add a lock to the wishing well for added security. We hope this helps!
