Does your venue hire include glassware?

Our venue hire includes glassware, linen, cutlery and crockery.

Do we have to book all the rooms onsite?

All rooms must be booked for a minimum of 2 nights (3 for a long weekend). One of the King deluxe rooms is included in the venue hire for two nights.

How does the accommodation work?

There are two ways, the most common way is we send you the room list, you assign guests to each room and then they email us their details and how many nights and pay directly, alternatively we can put together an all inclusive package for you.

What are the room layouts?

All rooms are King or Queen deluxe rooms except for one room which is two single beds.

What time does music have to be finished?

Whilst the main music has to be finished by 11:00pm, guests are welcome to remain onsite until 11:30pm.

Do you have a wet weather option?

Our indoor space can accommodate up to 40 people inside for a sit down meal, we strongly recommend hiring a marquee or similar in case of inclement weather. Our dedicated wedding planner is available to help you with this.

Are our furry friends welcome to attend the ceremony?

You are absolutely welcome to bring your pet for the ceremony, if they are remaining for the evening we would recommend having someone who is in charge of looking after them. Alternatively we have a great range of pet sitters in the area we can recommend.

Can you help with sourcing vendors?

Absolutely! We have a great list of recommendations around the local area who can all help bring your dream day to life.

Is it BYO alcohol?

It sure is, but we can also help organise quotes for this. A cool room is included in the venue hire.

The Buffalo Motel is a wonderful location and one stop shop for a wedding. The event space was a much more relaxed option which suited what we had in mind. Can not recommend our wedding planner Courtney enough. She calmed and controlled the day with every weather event.

Affordable Wedding Venue Hunt – Melbourne

We’re on the hunt for a wedding venue in Melbourne, ideally around the CBD or west, for about 80–100 guests with a sit-down reception and ceremony onsite. Our budget is roughly $12,000 all up for food, drinks and ceremony (cheaper would be amazing), and we’re totally open to trimming the guest list or looking at a Friday or winter date to make it work. Would love to hear from any venues that might be a good fit ??
