Richard Pitts is a highly experienced and accomplished hospitality professional with over 25 years of management experience across multiple states and internationally and with 17 years experience managing SkyHigh. • Licensed Venue Manager with extensive experience in managing restaurants and hospitality venues. • Overseeing end-to-end event planning and delivery, from weddings and corporate functions to large seasonal events.

No tentative dates are permitted. If you would like to secure a date you are interested in, then we require a holding payment to secure that date. The holding payment is fully refundable within the first 30 days of payment.
Once a holding payment of $1,000 is paid and confirmed a personalised booking agreement is then sent out for you to sign in agreement to our terms and conditions. After this is completed we then discuss our next meeting. All monies paid go towards the final payment. The holding payment is non refundable after 30 days if the event does not go ahead.
Lunch celebrations and cocktail functions are for a duration of 4 hours and a seated dinner event lasts for 5 hours.
Yes, you can pay for extra event time at a per person cost.
Yes, we do. We have access to the building via ramps including dedicated disabled parking bays and disabled toilets on both floors.
Guests can use their own cars as we have ample parking available onsite. Alternatively we can provide contact details of shuttle bus companies.
Yes, we do. Most guests who have allergies or specific dietary requirements can be catered for. We just need the information 3 weeks prior to your wedding date and an alternative meal will be provided. We do not cater for intolerances or dislikes and all our menu items may contain traces of allergens therefore we cannot cater for anyone who has serious allergies or who is anaphylactic. What are the pros and cons of round or rectangle tables? What do most couples choose?
SkyHigh Mount Dandenong
At SkyHigh, we use round tables for your guests and a rectangular bridal table which works best with the shape of our room. We find the round banquet style tables to be more personal so your guests can interact with everyone on the table. Long rectangular tables can often feel like you are only able to speak with the few people next to or accross from you, however they can look absolutely beautiful if you prefer that look!
At the end of the day, it is absolutely up to you and your personal preference! Each venue will have their own recommendation depending on the layout of their room.
Is it likely our wedding quotes could change because of the cost of living?
We are starting to get prices for our wedding reception, for our wedding that's 18 months away. If we make a booking and pay a deposit, is the price guaranteed, given the cost of everything keeps going up?

All venues will have their own policies and T's and C's. At SkyHigh, we give you a quote and once the date holding payment and booking agreement has been signed, we honour the price per person until the day of you wedding.
How to make sure our wishing well is secure at our reception
We're having a wishing well instead of a gift registry. I had a thought, about the security of the actual wishing well itself as it will contain cash. Any tips/advice?

At SkyHigh, the wishing well is placed in the area in front of the bar. This is a high traffic area, and constantly has a staff member nearby. Some couples also choose to add a lock to the wishing well for added security. We hope this helps!
