Ìkos

Ìkos (pronounced ee-kos) draws its name from the Ancient Greek word Oikos, meaning both “family” and “home.” True to its origins, Ìkos embodies the spirit of hospitality as the newest venue at Sunnybrae Estate (2024). A place where family extends beyond walls to welcome every guest as one of our own. This contemporary function space features soaring ceilings, elegant modern finishes, and expansive glass that opens to beautifully manicured grounds, offering a seamless blend of luxury and warmth. Designed for unforgettable celebrations, Ìkos accommodates up to 140pax seated at round tables or 160pax with trestle arrangements (plus a bridal table), providing the perfect backdrop for weddings, events, and gatherings that feel as personal as they are spectacular.

The Coach House

Our Coach House, one of Sunnybrae's original heritage-listed buildings, is the second-largest venue on the estate, seating up to 260pax with a bridal table. Its rustic charm, met with subtle modern finishes, creates a comforting, inviting & romantic atmosphere. The neutral colour palette effortlessly compliments a wide range of styles. If you dream of rustic opulence, of Tuscan winery atmospheres, or austere country-chic, our Coach House is your ideal wedding venue. 

The Marquee

Our Marquee stands proud with its high curved roof & paved herringbone flooring, sure to add a touch of luxury to your special day. Seating up to 480pax, the Marquee's sleek white features provide endless possibilities for each couple to create a reception that encapsulates their unique style, while high-powered heating & cooling ensures year-round comfort for you & your guests.

The Liapis family carries over 40 years of experience in the industry. Managing Director, Jimmy Liapis, and his family secured the estate in 2015, and have since invested significantly into re-establishing it as one of Adelaide’s premier wedding venues. With the addition of the state’s first free-standing Marquee venue, and countless restorations, the Liapis family have respectfully transformed this part of South Australia’s history into one of its most stunning and tranquil locations.
