Event Process

1. Enquire with our events team and have a discussion about your requirements. 

2. Book a site inspection to view our venue and see the spectacular views for yourself. 

3. Lock in your date with a deposit. 

4. An in-depth meeting will be arranged to go over all your event logistics. 

5. 2 months to go! All logistics will be in place. 

6. 3 weeks to go! Final numbers confirmed and payment required. 

Ceremony Hire

Ceremonies are held on our main decking or in our private dining room (numbers dependent) with a wet weather contingency plan carried out in the main restaurant. Unfortunately, we do not host ceremonies only, ceremonies booked must be followed by a reception. 

Included in deck ceremony hire we provide:

Dietary Requirements

At The Baths, we are extremely flexible regarding guest dietary requirements. We just need to know what dietary requirements there will be attending and we cater to these on the day. 

Tentative Bookings

Tentative bookings can be held for up to 7 days, upon receipt of a deposit the booking will then be confirmed. 

Deposit Amounts

For exclusive wedding and event bookings, the deposit amount is $2,000 with the outstanding balance due 3 weeks before the date of the event. Once we have received payment the deposit is non-refundable.

5. Cakeage, dance floor and ceremony hire are not included in the minimum of spend calculations 

Accessibility

The Baths has ramps to all areas of the venue, including a lift and accessible restroom in accordance to the Discrimination Act 1992. 

Dance Floor

The dance floor measurement is 4x4m and is always placed at the city end of the venue. If you require a larger dance floor and depending on the floor plan for your event, an externally supplied dance floor can be hired. 

Parking

Metered council operated parking is in operation around The Baths. Between the hours of 8am and 8pm up to 4 hour parking can be purchased for $13.50 or $5.70 for 1 hour. 

Menu Selections

Alternate drop - a choice of 2 selections are made during the organisatioin of the event, then on the day these are served to guests on a 50/50 drop basis. With alternate drop we suggest catering to the majority, dietary requirements can easily be catered to individually. 

Sharing menu - Guests will receive all items on the sharing menu. 

Choice - a choice of 3 selections for each course is made during the organisation of the event and guests can make their own choice on the day. 

Winter wedding and event package

Summer menu selections and sharing options can still be chosen during April-August months but will be charged at the price of the menu during those summer months. Our winter wedding and event offer extends only to what is included in the package, and can't be interchanged with other menu options. 

Beverage Packages

The Baths Package includes the options in the house beverage drinks package. If you wish to upgrade and choose your own wines, you can do so at an additional cost stated in the add-ons. The beverage package must run for the duration of the event. Unfortunately, corkage on spirits is not available. 

Supplier Set-Up Times

Depending on the date and time of your wedding or event, suppliers are welcome to bump in from 8am for lunch functions and from 3.45pm for evening functions. Inventory cannot be stored and must be removed from the venue after the function as concluded. Small items may be stored 48 hours prior; with bigger items bumped in on the day. 

Menu Tastings

Unfortunately, we don't offer menu tastings, however we encourage guests to come and try our a la carte offering as your wedding or event choices will be of the same high standard.
