Abbey Beach Resort is located right on the stunning beachfront of Geographe Bay in the Margaret River Region. A unique and romantic location to hold your wedding ceremony within our beautiful landscaped gardens or our grand Atrium, stunning photos on the beach, your wedding reception in our grand ballroom and entertain and accommodate all your guests with our countless 4 1/2 star resort facilities.
Wedding Accommodation
Every bride and groom that holds their wedding reception in the Ballroom at Abbey Beach Resort receives a complimentary studio spa suite on their wedding night with corner spa and complimentary champagne and chocolates in their room on arrival.
Our flexible range of luxury Hotel and Apartment accommodation means we can meet the individual needs of singles, couples and families with children. Choose from a Studio room or a 1, 2 or 3 bedroom self-contained, serviced apartment – all come with a private corner spa and separate shower.

We offer flexible catering options which will provide you with a choice of dinner and cocktail menus, tailored to your specific dietary requirements. Beverage packages are available with a variety of local Margaret River wines.

FAQ
We hold a maximum of 2 weddings on the same day and they would be located in different areas of the resort, to ensure that neither wedding is impacted.
We have a recommended list of suppliers that we work closely with, however, this does not mean you have to use them. You can most definitely use other suppliers that are not recommended by the Resort.
We have plenty of parking onsite for your guests at no charge.
We have accessible accommodation available for guests and all of our function areas have easy access via ramps or lifts.
Yes, meals are charged per supplier attending the reception, this does not include beverages.
Yes, we can arrange both at no further cost, if informed in advance.
We offer a variety of packages to include a Monday to Friday option, Saturday Summer option, Saturday Winter option, small Elopement package and individual wedding pricing options. With some of our packages there is a minimum guest number and or set pricing and prices are also valid in the year of the booking confirmed.
Yes we can move your wedding into our Atrium.
There is a deposit required based on which wedding package is chosen. The deposit is due 4 weeks from the booking confirmation date, however, we are happy to work around the wedding couple depending on your booking requirements. A signed contract of the wedding terms & conditions is also required to confirm the wedding date.
A complimentary room is offered to the bridal couple on their wedding night once the wedding is booked with us. Discounted accommodation is available and set up for the bridal party, family and guests if the wedding reception is booked on-site, rates and discounts are dependent on the time of the year the wedding is being held.
Final payment is due 7 days prior to the wedding for all confirmed wedding charges. A preliminary count of guest numbers is due 30 days prior to the wedding. Final re-confirmed numbers are due 14 days prior to the wedding. The numbers supplied 14 days prior to the wedding will be final numbers charged, catered and set up for, should any guests drop after this date will still be charged in full.
11pm is our close time, penalties may apply after 12.00am, as per the Resorts terms & conditions.
Our reception rooms can cater for anything from 10 to 220 guests.
