Situated on 35 acres of pristine waterfront on sparkling Lake Macquarie, just 30 minutes south of Newcastle, Raffertys features a choice of function rooms catering for small intimate affairs to formal banquet receptions for up to 150 guests.

The team of chef’s at Raffertys have designed an array of wedding menu options for your special day. Reception styles available include cocktail parties, three course formal dinners and sit down share meals.

Raffertys dedicated events team and our professional food and beverage staff will ensure that you can simply relax and enjoy your wedding day.

In the case of wet weather Raffertys provides an indoor space, complimentary. Our Wedding Coordinator will liase with your suppliers and yourself on the day should your ceremony need to be moved indoors. 

Raffertys allows you to hold your ceremony onsite when a reception package is booked. 

We can most certainly accommodate guests with dietary requirements. 

Yes, we have 40 car spaces located outside our main building. Guests are also welcome to park on nearby grass areas. Both our ceremony and reception venues are only a short walk from the car park.

We were very impressed with Raffertys Resort. We booked our Ceremony, reception and accommodation there. Lisa, our wedding coordinator was very helpful and readily met our needs. We had a beautiful wedding day and our guests loved it.

The most stunning venue for our wedding day!! We could not have asked for a more picturesque place to have had our wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception at Raffertys and we could not be happier. Our ceremony was held overlooking the beautiful Lake Macquarie where we then had our photos taken along the waterfront with the most amazing sunset as the backdrop. The reception was then held onsite as well with sunset views from the function area and the most magical lighting above. We had a cocktail style wedding with canapes being served throughout the evening and the food options were a hit with everyone. We had a pretty eclectic range of dietary requirements and they were able to work with us to accommodate all our guests. I don't think we could have picked a more perfect location for our special day!! Thank you Raffertys Resort!!
